How to check this list before buyingThinset and grout coverage
The initial thinset and grout coverage values are planning assumptions. Replace them with coverage for the actual product, package, and installation. Tile waste applies to the tile count; thinset and grout use the installed area and their separate coverage values.
Joint width alone cannot determine grout coverage. Tile dimensions, thickness, and the product also matter, as shown in CUSTOM's product coverage chart. Convert tiles to cases using the store's actual pieces or area per case.
