How accurate are these calculators?
They provide planning quantities from the dimensions and assumptions shown. Product yield, site conditions and your layout can change the order. Use the purchase sheet to confirm the product and final quantity with your supplier.
What is a waste allowance?
It is the extra material you choose to allow for cuts, spills or uneven areas. Where a calculator includes this input, it applies the allowance before rounding to whole packages. Zero is allowed; the right allowance depends on the job.
Should I buy bags or order ready-mix concrete?
Compare local quotes for the same project volume. Include bagged material, mixing equipment and labor, or ready-mix delivery, minimum-load and waiting charges. The concrete tool lets you put one chosen supply method on your sheet.
Can I save my material list as a PDF?
