The initial calculation uses square tile faces. It does not represent rectangular subway tiles or mosaic sheets. For those products, use the total area including waste (33 sq ft in this example) with their stated sheet or case coverage.
Check the actual thinset and grout coverage for the product and joint dimensions. Select compatible materials for the surface and follow the installation system's requirements.
